Friends of SunHill Junior school has a long association with the school combining Staff, Teachers, Parents, Grandparents, Local Community members and Pupils Past and Present. Everyone involved has played a crucial role in supplementing and enhancing the learning environment of the school through fundraising.

 

In the last few years, Friends has raised funds for the new forest themed library, trim trail on the school field,  all-weather pitch, outdoor play equipment, resources, new sound and lighting systems for the school hall and thirty classroom chrome books. They have also raised funds to organise creative arts and wellbeing days throughout the school year.

 

School fundraising in now overseen by the school with support of the "friends" while we have a vacancy for a new committee and we welcome all offers of support and assistance during our events. All parents of children at the school are automatically members of the friends association and we are always keen to include other interested members of our community.
